The neighborhood of Cypress Run is known for it’s beautiful surrounding parks and generous lot sizes. It’s a great neighborhood for families where you often see children playing and enjoying the fabulous Florida sunshine.

The Cypress Run neighborhood is located in south central Coral Springs south of Royal Palm Blvd, north of Atlantic Blvd between Coral Springs Drive and Coral Ridge Drive and east of Sawgrass Expressway. The nearby Sawgrass Expressway provides easy access should you need to commute for your work or if you like to visit nearby cities such as Ft Lauderdale and Miami. If you don’t need to commute a long distance to work and are able to stay within city limits, you’ll find many businesses, shopping and dining to keep you near home enjoying all that Coral Springs has to offer.

Cypress Run Area Parks
There are several parks to enjoy in the Cypress Run neighborhood area with Coral Springs Cypress Park, being it’s large community park with it’s entrance located at the intersection of Coral Springs Drive and Lakeview Drive at 1301 Coral Springs Drive. Once you enter the park’s main entrance you can turn to the left to access a young children’s playground area, basketball courts and sand volleyball court. If upon entering the park and turn to right, you’ll go towards the baseball fields and soccer fields. If you keep on heading around back to the Coral Springs Cypress Park addition, you’ll find 2 fields dedicated to soccer matches with artificial grass. You’ll also find a winding fitness trail that wraps throughout Cypress park that has been popular for fitness enthusiasts and those who enjoy a wandering stroll bypassing the lakes and canals. You’ll also find many of the city’s art sculptures, benches, picnic tables, concession stand and restrooms in the park.
Located just west, across from Coral Springs Cypress Park, you’ll find the Cypress Hammock Park and adjoining Cypress Orchid Park at 1300 Coral Springs Drive. On the 16 acres, you’ll find 8 tennis courts and swimming pool complete with water slides and wading play areas for the children. Within the parks are serene nature trails that you can access for jogging or walking. In addition, you’ll find picnic table areas, meeting rooms and restrooms.
Lakeview Park is a smaller park located at 11501 Lakeview Drive on 7 acres. Here you’ll find a children’s playground area, sand volleyball and a winding jog/walk path, in addition to a picnic area.
Another smaller park is found at Eagle Ridge Park located at 11650 NW 20th Drive on 3 acres with tennis court, half basketball court, a children’s play area and tables.
Cypress Run in Coral Springs Shopping
Nearby is the popular Coral Springs’ main street for open air dining, shopping, entertainment and professional offices at The Walk located about 8 minutes away. Or if you’re looking for a large shopping mall, you won’t have to travel too far to the Coral Square Mall located about 6 minutes away. Throughout the city you’ll also find plazas with retail boutiques and more dining spots frequented by the locals. We always want to know where the locals go as this will lead us to some of the best places in town.
You’ll find the grocery shopping brands of Publix , Walmart and Target. In addition, if you’re more health conscious and like to shop particular natural food stores you’ll be delighted to know that Coral Springs’ offers you Whole Foods Market and The Fresh Market located at 4633 University Dr and don’t forget the farmers greenmarket too!
