Real Estate Tip of the Day December 12, 2013
Expect the unexpected when selling a home. This is likely some of the best advice I can provide a home Seller, as it prepares them if something gets off course with the selling of a home. By no means does this mean that something will go wrong, but if it indeed does happen, a home Seller will be prepared and I’m a big believer in preparation.
Things won’t always fit together like a jigsaw puzzle, such as when:
-
One party involved in the transaction drops the ball and another will have to pick up the pieces.
-
Home inspections reveal some give and take between Buyer & Seller that you never anticipated.
-
And a closing date can often be delayed.
Again, expect the unexpected and be pleasantly surprised when it all goes as planned and all the pieces of the puzzle fit together nicely.
